OMG, y'all - guess who's a librarian? Me!
Actually, I'm not sure I'm that excited about it. I went to college, got a degree in anthropology, and have no idea what I'm going to do with it now. I have ideas - I ALWAYS have ideas - but, 'ya know, so what?
At least librarian-ing isn't extremely stressful and there will be payment (perhaps just enough to put me in debt for a small car). Also, the sweet paid holidays have already kicked in, on Labor Day. Ahh, that was a hard 8 hours of barbecuing and watching marathons. The biggest drawback? The drive. 40 miles both ways. Maybe I shall also have enough each month for a small, dangerously located apartment. Yesss!
