Happy Early New Year everyone!! Posting now because my internet time is limited when I'm at home and I'll be busy so who knows when my next update will be. So far I only have one new New Years resolution and that is to study my German a bit more thoroughly than last semester. To tell the truth it will probably just go the way of the great "lose weight" and "stop being such a bitch" resolutions of years past. At least I try. One exciting thing: we're having Christmas late this year! Since we were so busy rolling balls (peanut butter & martha washington) and baking pies we didn't have time to get a tree or presents. We put up the tree and decorated the house interior Christmas Eve (something that never happens) as party guests were arriving. Monday the 26th we went shopping, wrapped presents, and we're opening them New Year's Eve. I hope this never happens again.

Happy Holidays!!! Gosh, its been awhile. I turned in my portfolio on Monday for Theory & Technique in Cultural Anthropology class. 23 pages of ethnography, almost 10 objects collected, 16 pages of fieldnotes typed single-space, drafts, methods, surveys, consent forms, IRB and AAA ethics, and one reviewed draft by my good friend/classmate Kelly = a semester that has majored in kicking my ass! But, overall this was a really productive semester: I learned a lot more about forensics, I learned that museum studies can also be called beating a dead horse 101, and that I should really study my German more than, well never. Only two final exams to go and I'll be going home. So, have a Christmas sugar cookie and some hot chocolate; I can't stand either but they sure are pretty, huh? (I like my hot chocolate cold and my sugar cookies far, far away). Write at ya' later. Love, Sam.

Hello all, been awhile since I last posted. Kind of busy here at anonymous liberal arts college being close to winter break and finals. Three major papers with a presentation on each of them and two final exams plus homework before I'm done. The next two weeks are gonna be so much fun! Christmas cannot come fast enough. Not much else to say...Did I mention how Christmas should really hurry up and get here? Yeah, thought I might have. Bye for now, Sam.
